Hearing Aids & Hearing Rehabilitation
Hearing aids fitted properly, not just supplied. Trial devices before you decide, have them programmed to your own hearing, and get the support that makes them worth wearing.

A device is the start, not the answer
Most hearing aids that end up in a drawer were not badly chosen. They were badly fitted, or nobody explained what to expect in the first few weeks. Hearing through a device takes adjustment, and that adjustment is the part that needs support.
We assess your hearing first, let you trial types of hearing aids at the hearing aid centre, fit them using real-ear measurement, and stay with you through the settling-in period and afterwards.

Where we can help
Hearing aid care covers more than the first fitting.
- Choosing a first hearing aid
- Comparing types of hearing aids before committing
- Upgrading from an older device
- Devices that were fitted elsewhere and are not working well
- Hearing aids that have ended up unused in a drawer
- Hearing loss in one ear only
- Tinnitus alongside hearing loss
- Getting back to work, meetings and social settings
- Repairs, servicing and reprogramming
- Rehabilitation of hearing impaired patients, including communication strategies
From assessment to fitting
Fitting a hearing aid properly takes more than one appointment. The process includes:
- A full hearing assessment, so the device is set to your hearing
- A discussion of what you actually need it for
- Trialling types of hearing aids in real listening conditions
- Ear impressions where a custom fit is needed
- Real-ear measurement to verify the fitting
- A settling-in period with review appointments

Support that continues
Fitting is the beginning. What follows matters more:
- Programming adjusted as you get used to the device
- Aural rehabilitation and communication strategies
- Rehabilitation of hearing impaired patients, structured around your goals
- Repairs, servicing and replacement parts
- Remote adjustments by tele-audiology
- Review appointments as your hearing changes
